The finished design is most certainly a garden with “wow” factor! The curved raised beds split the garden in two and the archway really helps to define each of the areas. The sculpture is placed at the far end of the garden so that when viewed from the house they provide a focal point through the archway.
The planting areas will eventually become full and lush and many of the plants supply an additional air of romance with their beautiful scent.
The beautiful church is very much a focal point too, especially the large window which, when the garden is viewed from inside the house, is visible through the archway.
The storage areas near the house have been designed to accommodate the water butt and storage chest and I have also designed a space for the pots which, if not designated a space, would just feel like clutter.
