I hope you’ll agree that the finished design really works in the space. Scroll through the pictures and you’ll find an axonometric drawing of the whole garden which will give you a real sense of how it will feel in a few years time. As I write, the garden is being built so I’m afraid I don’t have any “after” shots to show you just yet.
The front garden is designed to accommodate 2 cars on the driveway side by side but also so that they won’t be seen from the lounge. The raised beds deal with the slope and the lawn area will be reinforced to facilitate access to the courtyard area at the side of the house and also to provide some extra space for parking if required.
The English cottage back garden will be gorgeous, with lush romantic planting that offers only a glimpse of what lies beyond the upper terrace. The lower part of the garden will be home to the summer house, a place where Lynne will be able to sit and take in her longed for water rill!
