The biggest changes to the garden were implemented around the house.  By removing the raised area at the front of the house altogether, we were able to significantly increase the width of the driveway.  The slope to the side entrance was incorporated so that a wheelbarrow could be taken to all areas of the garden.

Simplicity was the key for the terrace at the back of the house and we extended the seating area to accommodate more people.  The wide staircase leads to a small courtyard area where the arbour is positioned and this provides a focal point from both the lounge and the kitchen.

The pictures show the garden after the completion of the planting phase of the project, which the clients designed and implemented themselves.  It will take some time for the plants to fill out and soften the hard landscaping, but I think you'll agree it has made a huge difference to the overall look and feel of the garden.
